ASX set to open softer - The Australian stock market is likely to continue falling despite having no leads from Wall Street to offer a clear direction. There is no economic news scheduled for today although the US is due to release consumer confidence and manufacturing data tonight. At 7am AEST, the June share price index futures contract was 13 points lower at 4,938 points. The S&P/ASX200 posted its fifth straight fall on Monday, with the benchmark index shedding 23.6 points, or 0.47%, to 4,959.9 points. Read more: (VIEW LINK)
