Aurelia Metals (ASX: AMI) is an emerging copper producer to watch, with first production targeted for Q3 2014 and a firming share price. The company is our preferred emerging copper exposure and is in full-scale development mode with respect to its Hera gold project in NSW, with first production scheduled for Q3 2014. Underground development rates are well above schedule, process plant commissioning is now well underway, and high-grade drilling results have been achieved from outside of the existing Hera Reserve area. Aurelia's share price has doubled from around $0.20 during May to a recent high of $0.40 during August on the back of robust trading volumes - a direct result of growing market awareness of the company's emerging production status.
