Australia ranked third in tech M&A and investment according to DealBook's Annual M&A and Investment Activity Review for 2013, published by RightClick Capital. A total of 117 tech deals where completed in Australia, third behind the US which had 2,600 deals, followed by the UK in second with 260 deals, then Germany in fourth with 108 deals and Canada in fifth with 101 deals. Investment in the Asia Pacific region was up 80% to $5.64 billion in 2013, from $3.14 billion in 2012. (via Startup Smart: (VIEW LINK)
