Bad is good, according to Rick Rule, chairman of US based investment group Sprott Holdings. He opened the annual Mines and Money investment conference in Melbourne this morning. His point was that the best investment opportunities occur in the midst of professional and investor capitulation. That was how he saw the current attitudes to investing in mining. He was overtly bullish, saying that it was a mystery as to why the Australian investment community was not paying more attention to the opportunities on offer.
