According to Vimal Gor, the head of income and fixed interest at BT Investment Management, Preferment will win today's Melbourne Cup, with its biggest threat Trip to Paris. Other "live chances" include Criterion, Fame Game, Who Shot The Barman and Hartnell. Gor also reckons the RBA will cut rates today "We think there is a very good chance that the RBA cuts tomorrow. If you really want to get bang for your buck, then the RBA to cut into Preferment/Trip To Paris quinella at $105 looks good value." Read more: (VIEW LINK)
