Bullish Oil and Copper - but what about Iron Ore?

Comparing different commodities is inherently difficult and the drivers of price swings in one is very different to another. What I set out to do in running the portfolio, is use my "global" growth analysis to trade commodities which is linked most closely to "global" growth. In my view those commodities are Copper and Oil. So it is therefore difficult for me to have a view on Iron Ore if I am focussing on the global economic condition, because I believe Iron Ore is more of a China and emerging markets story, which means it is impacted less so by the entire worlds economic condition, but, for purely research purposes, I today want to dive in to the correlations and recent performance of Iron Ore and Oil/Copper to see if there is any noticeable findings worth having a beer and barbecue chin-wag over as us Aussies move in to Anzac Day!
