Cash Not Moving From Sidelines In Australia

The results of the May Australian Investors' Sentiment Survey are out and I am pretty certain it won't surprise anyone the noticeable spike in enthusiasm recorded in March has evaporated, disappeared, deflated; whatever verb one chooses to use in this context - Australian investors have retreated to what has been their attitude most of the time post-2012, being cautiously optimistic. As a direct result, cash on the sidelines remains on the sidelines. Though one has to take note of the fact the survey was conducted in May, before this week's sell-off.
