Chart: How do spinoffs perform post listing?

Credit Suisse analysts make the following observations. "There does appear to be merit in being exposed to newco companies from around three months through to two years post the demerger… These results make intuitive sense to us because new management in newco companies are likely to be more energetic, incentivised appropriately and more able to clearly focus on or even redirect their efforts on the more concentrated newco operations, which were likely less focused upon within the larger parent business.” (Source: Credit Suisse via Markets Live)
