Chinese stocks fall leaving the market more leveraged than ever......and you can't get out
The Chinese stock market is again falling, at lunch the Shanghai composite was down over 3% and the Shenzhen Composite had lost over 5%. This is happening faster than traders can unwind leveraged bets as the chart below highlights. To make matters worse for investors the Financial Times is reporting that in an attempt to avoid the market rout more than 200 companies had their shares suspended from trading without disclosing a specific reason. (Chart below comes from Bloomberg).
