Data ahead - HSBC releases its flash manufacturing purchasing managers' index for China at 11:45am (market exp: 48.2). In Europe, the purchasing managers' index composite for August is out at 6:00pm. In the United States, initial jobless claims for August is due at 10:30pm (market exp: 330K) while the Markit preliminary purchasing managers index for August is released at 10:58pm. In addition to this, the US house price purchase index for June is also released at 11:00pm.
