How do we see the future

How do we see the future? I'd love to say 'like Federer sees the tennis ball on a good day' but this is sadly not even remotely true. What we do see however are conditions that may lead to a very low inflation environment for a long time. In three major areas and possibly a fourth we see a great deal of excess global supply.
