Interest rates can't ever rise again, it is all well and good expecting an interest rate rise in the US. Financial media is all about when, but today I want to concentrate on the if. In my opinion, expectations of rising interest rates is mainly based on market participants boredom of no change for so long, they cant go any lower, or the bond bull market has to come to an end because it can't last forever. All emotional views. On the flip side, they are predicated on technical views of the economic recovery in the US, job markets improving or rising inflation.
