Invast Weekly Market Wrap with Peter Esho 14 October 2013 -The US debt ceiling discussion continues to be the discussion of focus this week. We think actually the most important point to look through, once that resolution is met, is the US corporate reporting season. That really starts to ramp up towards the end of the week. What we have published this week in the client only research is a breakdown of the S&P500 companies and the sectors that we think are most important for corporate reporting and corporate earnings. We have a look at the beat rate and we take a look at the beat rate for the 2nd quarter relative to the historical average and what that means for the 3rd quarter. In terms of economic news outside of the United States it is a week that is very much dominated by inflation readings.
