Macquarie Investment Management has released their September Insights, focusing on the effect of the AUD on income streams. The movements of the AUD are especially critical for Australian investors looking overseas for investment opportunities. The fund manager notes two key attributes of a commodity currency such as the AUD. Firstly, it has a significantly trending nature, as highlighted by its long rise above parity and the subsequent fall in recent times.
