OC Premium Small Companies Fund added Select Harvests (SHV) and Ingenia (INA) to the portfolio in the March quarter. Select is an almond producer which grows, processes and packages almonds from its orchards. Ingenia Communities Group is a company that owns, manages and develops a diversified portfolio of seniors living accommodation across Australia. Both companies have impressive growth prospects, reasonable valuation metrics and quality management teams. IPO activity remains at elevated levels with the investment team busy meeting potential listings and undertaking site visits. These include Sterling Education, Mantra Group, Burson Group, Japara Healthcare and Pioneer Credit. We have been underwhelmed by the aggressive pricing on some IPO candidates and have been happy to pass on the majority. Japara Healthcare, one of Australia's largest residential aged care providers, looks like a quality business and could be well received by the market subject to sensible pricing.
