Opportunities for Toll's competitors. According to the AFR Japan Post may lose some of Toll Holdings' contracts before completing its $6.5 billion takeover if change of control clauses in key businesses are triggered, creating business opportunities for logistics rivals. Toll is required to disclose change of control clauses in contracts with more than $40 million in annual revenues to Japan Post, and help negotiate the transition of contracts to the Japanese group. But analysts have cautioned that some Toll customers could be concerned by the proposed change in ownership, with UBS identifying Toll's $300 million contract handling logistics for the Singapore Ministry of Defence as the greatest risk.
