Poll results: Bullish on Australian equities - Our latest Livewire Poll shows that 67% of respondents are currently bullish on Australian equities. When asked which stage of the market cycle Australian equities is at, 48% of respondents believe we are in a growing bull market while 19% think we are still in the early days. Pessimists accounted for 33%, that is, those who believe that the bull run is maturing or over or that we are currently in a bear market. Although the majority of analysts remain conservatively and in bear market mode, there appears to be more bulls hiding among the bears than most expect.
