Reporting season reality check. Anton Tagliaferro, CIO of Investors Mututal, discusses the upcoming Australian reporting season and the continued run of companies seeking growth in offshore markets. On reporting season Tagliaferro says there are a few sectors that look like they are due for a reality check. When you look around the world, when you look at the Australian economy... it's hard to understand why things are trading at such high levels. It makes sense for some stocks such as Sonic, CSL and Caltex where there look to be some growth opportunities. On the other hand, Tagliaferro says sectors such as building materials and resources could be in for a bit of a reality check and that analyst forecasts in some cases are factoring in a bigger bounce than they should.
