Rhett Kessler from Pengana says that we're facing a Bifurcation (A division into two forks) of both the Australian and Global economies - and this has an impact on the way he has been investing. Kessler says the wealthy are feeling pretty good at the moment because asset prices have gone up while the lower classes who spend most of their disposable income on non-discretionary items (where inflation is high) are feeling the pinch of higher costs and job insecurity. Companies that focus on these income groups, soley either AB or CD have got quite diverse revenue paths and are seeing very different environments. And this may be one of the reasons why you are getting a polarised investment community - some think the world's going well and others think it's quite tough.
