Rising electricity use is the best indicator of China's economic improvement. Power use by manufacturing, mining and construction companies climbed to its highest level since 2009 during July, rebounding from a two-year low in February. Increased use of electricity, along with reports showing better-than-expected growth in factory output, exports and imports, hints at Chinese recovery.
