S&P 500 Index - October close at record high suggests further gains. We note that the S&P 500 Index managed to close out October at a record level. Utilising the extended S&P 500 Index time series from Global Financial Data we find that record month end closing highs in October are reasonably Bullish looking forward 2-months. Since 1900, following a record October close the S&P 500 Index managed an average 2-month gain of 3.12% with a 13 from 16 win rate. Full data analysis & tables can be viewed at (VIEW LINK)
