Some considerations for investors facing low growth and potentially lower interest rates. The results of Livewire's recent audience survey indicate many investors expect interest rates will fall further in 2015. This view has quickly become consensus across many institutions. In response to these results Buy Side we asked three fund managers a few questions around the implications for investors and which sectors were likely to perform best should rates fall further. Whilst it appears the yield trade has still got some legs, one point that comes across quite clearly is that yield is no substitute for quality and investors should continue to focus on total returns on offer.
