The Australian stock market is set to open lower despite gains on Wall Street last Friday. At 0652 AEST, the June share price index futures contract was down 26 points at 4,759. The Australian share market had its best day last Friday in nearly 18 months. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 96.0 points, or 2.04%, at 4,791.8 points, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 90.6 points, or 1.93%, to 4,775.5 points. The AUD is trading flat at US95.72 cents compared to Friday's close of US95.79 cents.
