The New Phenomenon: Minus 20%+

This used to be the territory of smaller mining and energy companies. Hero one day, zero the next. Twenty percent (20%) flying off the share price within a short space of time is not a challenge for these stocks under the best of circumstances. But recently a new phenomenon is occurring on the ASX. All of a sudden 20%+ falls are occurring among industrial stocks, with some large cap popular investor stocks joining in the trend as well. Disturbingly, the list of members for the Club of Minus 20% is getting larger every week. Investing in Australian equities certainly has become a lot riskier than one would like to think.
