The RP Data CoreLogic Home Value Index results for October were released yesterday and they showed a 1.0% monthly increase. Home values rose over the month in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane but fell elsewhere. Over the year values across the combined capital cities were 8.9% higher, down from a peak growth rate of 11.5% in April 2014. The below image shows the individual city performances, each of which have recorded value increases over the past year however, the rate of growth has shown significant variation.
