The team at Visual Capitalist produced a corker last week highlighting the trends to watch in the Gold Market over the next few years The report focused on four key areas - Chinese Buying - Indian Demographics - Debt and Currency - Gold Discovery Trends I'd also add in the role of central banks and the risk in traditional asset classes as other bullish factors for the metals complex, despite the volatility and this frustrating and deep corrective period. The most interesting part of the visual (at least from my perspective) was the breakdown of Indian demographics, with fully 65% of the Indian population (which is 1.3 billion people), under the age of 35. Demographics is destiny as the saying goes - and as more and more Indians earn their peak earning ages (and get married etc), the 'Love Trade' for gold will get stronger in the coming years.
