Thundelarra - Drilling for gold

Mark Gordon

Independent Investment Research

Thundelarra is currently drilling at their Garden Gully Gold Project located near Meekatharra, a proven gold producing area. This programme has been designed to follow up positive results from recent scout drilling which returned up to 7m @ 24.5g/t gold in highly prospective but surprisingly under-explored tenements. Could Garden Gully be the site of Western Australia’s next gold discovery – as events over the last few years show there are still discoveries to be made in the West? Recent discoveries include Breaker Resources’ Bombora and Bombora North systems, Gold Road’s 3.6Moz Gruyere deposit and Dacian Gold’s 3.3Moz Mt Morgans Project. Recent work has also been carried out at the Red Bore Project, located adjacent to Sandfire’s DeGrussa operation, with drilling confirming the prospectivity for VHMS-style copper-gold mineralisation. Also near DeGrussa is the Mooloogool Project, prospective for gold and base metals and contiguous with and covering similar geology to Enterprise Metals’ Doolgunna Project, which as announced yesterday Sandfire is earning into.
