Up 4.86% in a day for our investors. 10% YTD. How it unfolded. #chf #swissfranc Yesterday was the best day for our investors yet. The portfolio was up 4.86% to take it to 10% in 2015 so far. In the final paragraph of my last blog post, I disclosed that to start the year I had exited the short position on the Swiss Franc (locking in large gains) and went long the currency with a 6% weighting in the portfolio. The recent flattening in the drop off in Swiss consumer price data coming through our system led us to flip our view and get bullish on the currency in the land of chocolate and dreamy clear blue-sky ski-days as I work from here in the almost 40 degree Australian summer.
