Good Morning, What a 24 hour turnaround! The catalyst? China…. What is interesting is the strong positive correlation that China’s markets has on global indices…. In the past, it was all about the US of A….. now China is driving market sentiment? Yesterday, I was invited to speak to our friends at Sky News about our thoughts on the market… I did note that we expect consolidation in the oil & gas space and yesterday, we saw just that… An $11 Billion takeover bid from WPL to buy OSH……… OSH rallied over 18% on the news but we feel that the premium provided is not attractive enough to take up and a higher offer will need to be placed on OSH… Interestingly, the PNG government control 10% of OSH, so getting them across the line will also be a tough fight…. Maybe STO is a much more attractive play?? The is growing speculation that WOW will shut down its Masters empire ... for Home? a Better Switch? The SPI is pointing to a 44 point rise on open…
