Woolworths' fresh results
On Tuesday, Woolworths Limited (ASX: WOW) announced its half year results, reporting sales growth in its Australian Food category of 2.8%, an increase from 1.9% on the prior corresponding period and in line with expectations. CEO Bradford Banducci has been concentrating on the core grocery network, repairing operational issues, and reinvesting back into the store network, all of which have been instrumental to the turnaround of the Company. Shares in Woolworths closed up 4% for the week. We own Woolworths as a market-driven investment in WAM Capital, WAM Leaders and WAM Active.
