3 new additions to the Platypus portfolio for June. Platypus has initiated new positions in Transurban Group, Sirius Resources and Mantra Group (IPO) during the month of June. In the latest monthly report Platypus writes Transurban has added to its portfolio of toll road assets with a purchase in Queensland, which we believe will be value accretive over the medium term. Sirius is developing a world class nickel copper project in Western Australia, and has the potential to add to its established resource base via new discoveries along the belt. Mantra operates a portfolio of hotels and resorts in Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia with thematic tailwinds that include rising inbound tourism in Australasia and a shortage of quality accommodation.
