St George Mining has reported further intersections of high grade nickel-copper sulphides following the results reported from its Cathedrals target. The latest results are from the previously untested Strickland’s geophysical anomaly 1km to the west of Cathedrals at its Mount Alexander base metal prospect southwest of Leinster in Western Australia. Early indications support a geophysical interpretation of the area pointing to an extensive mineralised system. Electromagnetic surveys will play an important ongoing role. The Strickland’s geophysical anomaly covers a strike of over 1km. The much larger Investigators anomaly occurs along strike of Strickland’s. Sayona Mining reported wide but relatively low grade intervals of graphite from a drilling program at its Itabela prospect in Brazil which are unlikely to support development. Antipa Minerals has embarked on the first phase of an exploration program at its Minyari copper and gold prospect north of the Telfer gold mine. The company is seeking extensions of defined mineralised zones potentially replicating Telfer.
