AUD still presents plenty of opportunities for upside, according to Ken Veksler of Acumen Management. Ken Veksler, trader and MD of Acumen Management, says the upside of the record low volatility is options are incredibly cheap, but traders should be very selective to find quality and yield. Veksler likes the Aussie dollar and the Australian economy as he believes there's underlying strength in the economy and the AUD presents plenty of opportunities. The central bank gave the green light for the currency to be lower, and yet the underlying strength is there. In a world where there's no yield effectively - the junk bond market is going through a boom because people are hunting for yield - something like the Aussie (dollar) in the developed market presents ample opportunity, Veksler said.
