Fund managers agree: The US is looking fully priced and Asia is now the place to be. In this morning's AFR Kerr Neilson says we now think Wall Street will be a laggard versus Europe and parts of Asia. Perpetual's Garry Laurence agrees with the thesis: While the US will probably see continued strong GDP growth, valuations for US stocks are now at or slightly above historical levels. So we don't see the same level of returns from the US as we have seen over the past five years. We see the greatest opportunities in Asia where valuations are attractive, most countries have strong balance sheets and there are quite a few industries with structural growth.
