How should Australian investors approach gyrations in major offshore financial markets and economies? Elio D'Amato, CEO of Lincoln Indicators, says whilst it would be easy to brush these gyrations off as pure noise the reality is that it does impact sentiment. His view is that markets will be higher at the end of 2014 than they are right now driven by an underlying recovery that D'Amato says we are in the midst of right now. When you look under the hood there are too many good stories out there to suggest that there is going to be any sort for correction in the near term. His advice to clients in light of market fluctuations is to use these as buying opportunities and stick to quality stocks. Full interview here (duration under 2 minutes).
