Mike Baird & Your Interest Rates

What does Mike Baird's win have to do with the RBA's interest rate decision next week? It's a long bow to stretch, but we've stretched it. Most economists will agree that interest rates are unlikely to change next week. We don't really listen to most economists. Economists didn't expect the rate cut in February, which transpired, while they predicted one in March, which didn't eventuate. Our view is not built on fancy spreadsheets or text book economic indicators, its build on anecdotal evidence which we see among investment markets and in our discussions with large, wealthy and successful investors.
