Stephen Koukoulas, Managing Director of Market Economics has tweeted that markets are now pricing in two rate hikes by early 2015. He believes that the first rise will likely occur in Q1 2014, following steep property price increases this year. So far in 2013, house prices have risen 5.5%, with prices up 0.5% since the start of September.
