Sunset Strip | Aussie market broke the recent 2 day negative run with a very low volume positive day. If the volume got any lower, brokers might as well become politicians. It's the only industry living in more denial than broking. The market saw the final low volume day when retail maintains control. Expect the institutional investors to come back from the break with their families... some may say its holiday to come to work...it is all relative. AUDUSD remains above 81 cents while volatility index has remains in the low teens. The growing global and local ageing demographic will continue to look for higher returns to support their rising cost of living. Low fixed income returns will force them to chase the high dividend yield offered by the Australian equity market. Given that we expect domestic data to remain negative while ECB and China to move towards stimulus, our market should continue the overall positive trend well into January. (VIEW LINK)
