Sunset Strip | Aussie market started negative and recovered to erase Friday's loss on the hope of resolution in Europe. Greece has not solved the problem, just bought itself a few months while Ukraine looks like still in war despite peace treaty already signed with Russia. After number of countries crying wolf, now no one cares about Ukraine. May be it has something to do with Germany and France trying to get Russia back in the good books so that they can resume business with one of their key trading partners. RBA may have realised stagnate nature of the economy later in the cycle than others, but the rate cut was a waste. It had no effect on the consumer sentiment or currency. It only served to pump up housing bubble and equity markets. Interestingly few economists are realising the same concept that we have been advocating. Still a large portion of economists are calling for another cut in March. But we remain of the view that another cut in March will be another wasted cut. (VIEW LINK)
