Sunset Strip | Aussie market started positive and then fell with WOW result before jumping up to finish positive for the end of month. Euro and Middle East will remain a mess and source of risk for global markets for years to come. Recent steps have made them less of an issue than they were a week ago. US Fed allowed the markets off the hook by pushing back the rate rise as we expected. RBA is the main game for domestic market now with substantial part of the market expecting a rate cut next week. We do not think they should cut and read below why. The volatility index has come back substantially to the yearly average while the currency is now on 78 cents despite negative data. Market had some end of month cheer today but likely to trend down till RBA shows their hand next week. Will they waste another cut by getting bullied by the market or hold fire for a better return?
