Sunset Strip | Summary: Aussie market had a solid broad based positive day following the global sentiment. House prices keep running higher with investors pushing it up. The only real solution is for the government to limit negative gearing on newly built dwellings from a certain date and take the heat out of existing dwellings. Housing bubble risk is real and growing...we need to act or pay the price later. SMSF are holding nearly $9b in geared property investments (up 300% in 2 years) while governments remain inactive due to vested interests. Market Movers: VET...We expect the stock to recover in the short term above $1.10 while the market digests the recent cap raising and downgrade cycle. SXL...We see it going back to $1.20 with state election driven recovery. HGG is another of our favourites to have a solid result overnight and should start the recovery path back to $5. Trading idea of the day: CarSales.com (CRZ). Friday's High Risk Pick: Bionomics (BNO). Chart of the day: Henderson Group (HGG). (VIEW LINK)
