The top three best performing floats for 2013 have come from the financial services sector. Credit reporting firm Veda Group, foreign exchange provider OzForex and insurance broking network Steadfast hold the top three spots for best performing IPOs after their companies posted stellar starts on the Australian Securities Exchange this year. Mid-cap financial services ¬companies have been a very hot spot this year - the sector's got good earnings upgrades versus their peers, said Equity Trustees chief investment officer, George Boubouras. The strong performance from the financial services sector is likely to see more floats push through in 2014. Lenders mortgage insurer Genworth is still likely to list in the first half of 2014 after putting its float on ice in 2012. Investment platform group OneVue has appointed Bell Securities and PricewaterhouseCoopers to help with its float, which is scheduled for March or April. (VIEW LINK)
