The US consumer is back. Josh Brown from Ritholtz Wealth says it's impossible to look at some of the key consumer metrics (see table attached) and say it's not favorable compared to recent years. 1) Disposable income and consumer confidence are significantly up from last year while gas prices and the unemployment rate are down. Brown says There's a breakout happening for US consumers - that's five years in the making. Let's hope it sticks.
