To this day he says it is an art that he is still trying to master and one that he believes few investors execute well. “I can’t remember the last person I saw who I could identify as a really good seller. Being a good seller is difficult. I’m also fond of saying that selling a good stock too early is basically as criminal as not being on it in the first place.” With investor enthusiasm driving valuations in a number of 'well-owned' stocks the question of when to sell is likely to be front of mind for many investors.
