Australian labour market slack increases chances of RBA cut
"Another sizeable gain in Australian employment in July has continued the remarkably strong run of recent months. However, today's data also showed a sharp rise in labour force participation, which has pushed the unemployment rate back up to its joint highest since 2002. With that much slack in the labour market, the chances of the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) cutting interest rates are not dead and buried just yet."
