Looking back and Look out below: Reviewing our 2015 forecasts and some worrying US data

It's hard to believe, but we're at the end of another year, which means it is time to review our "anti Forecasts" that we made on here 6 months ago. The first we review this week is how did our call of "the European periphery will NOT be tested again in 2015". With less than 4 weeks to run, it would appear that this was a tick on the winning side of the ledger. We also look at some US data released during the week, namely the ISM manufacturing survey and why it is particularly troubling for the mid to late 2016 outlook for the US economy.
