The A-REITS sector has emerged as a negative sector theme from a technical perspective. Over recent days there has been a heavy concentration of technical sell signals generated in the A-REITS sector - GPT, MGR, SGP, GMG. When key stocks in a sector generate sell signals in a cluster, it is a negative technical indicator for the sector outlook. (The previous occasion that A-REIT technical signals were generated in a cluster was in the early months of calendar 2014, when the major A-REITS generated technical BUY signals. A major rally in that sector followed)
