With so much discussion around the NASDAQ and tech stocks, we ask Roger Montgomery - Do you value tech stocks differently?. Unsurprisingly, as a value investor, Montgomery says that they should be valued exactly the same way you look at any other businesses. Montgomery says that irrespective of the engine that is used to create intrinsic value these are the two ingredients that will over time see the share price take care of itself. The biggest mistake investors make is to be guided by the share price of a company rather than taking advantage of share price fluctuations relative to a companies intrinsic value.
