Each year, we invite Livewire readers to participate in Australia's biggest survey of investors. It’s a survey with a difference, where you can have your say and learn how other investors are tackling the market's many challenges and taking advantage of opportunities.

We want to know your opinions on big-picture issues such as the outlook for interest rates and the economy, which asset classes are set to dominate in 2023, and your top Aussie stock picks over the year ahead.

We would also love to get your input on how Livewire can help you become a more successful investor in 2023.

Once the survey is complete, we tally the most-tipped stocks, place them in hypothetical portfolios, and track their performance over the year.

This year, in our continuing quest to provide you with access to the best of the best, we extended invitations to a team of top fund managers across Melbourne and Sydney.

2022 was a challenging year, with the fundies' stock picks down a collective 27%. However, in 2021, the expert picks returned 44%. This followed a 13% return in 2020 and a stellar 59% return in 2019.

What's on offer?

The survey is designed to be a bit of fun and get you thinking. To show our appreciation, survey participants get first access to a series of special content to be released in early January.

This will include:

  1. The #1 stock picks from the fund managers listed above
  2. The ‘most tipped big caps' from Livewire readers
  3. The ‘most tipped small caps' from Livewire readers
